Pod 39 Hotel - New York

The location is fantastic, with easy access to major attractions and a nearby grocery store. The rooftop bar offers great views, while the common areas are cozy and inviting. The room showed signs of neglect, with dust in certain corners and a somewhat uncomfortable shower setup. The A/C was turned off during cleaning, leading to a warm night, and the staff was unhelpful about a late check-out request.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed great value for money and well-appointed room with the AC system, private bathroom, as example. The location was unbeatable and quiet, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Herald Square. Furthermore, the area was safe.

Good very central location right by Times Square and subway, and local sites and attractions and food.

I loved to be there and would stay here again. The property overall was fairly clean and cheap, had great staff and location. Prime location with the central station within walking distance of the hotel. Also, Times Square was 1 mile away from the venue.

Cramped room setup makes moving around a challenge!!! Poorly designed bathroom privacy with gaps in the door. Noise from air conditioning isn't ideal for sleep!!!

Great spot for NYC adventurers

Superb location! Easy access to the subway and tons of eateries nearby. The rooftop bar vibes are legit! Free coffee in the morn is a nice perk. Rooms are cozy for couples, just don't expect too much privacy. The only issue is the small room size, but who cares when you're out exploring NYC all day?

But everything else is fine. The excellent bedding, the reception, the bar and restaurant on site, the modern facilities (everything is there), the friendliness and discretion.

Really good Value for a Cozy Stay!

Impressed by the superb rooftop views, especially the Empire State Building! Friendly front desk staff arranged an airport ride, easy. Daily housekeeping kept our room super clean, and the complimentary tea at the cozy bar was a good touch. Perfect location near Grand Central Station!
